Davy Morris from the Kilkenny Shed won the first RIBSA Senior Snooker Ranking event of the season ” The Barracks Classic” on Sunday the 23rd of September in the Northwest Snooker Club in Letterkenny County Donegal. There was 51 entries in the event and the standard was very high all weekend.
In the final Davy Morris beat Michael Judge from Q Club Wicklow and both players played superb snooker in the final but it was Davy who won the title 4-3.
- Semi Final
In the Semi Finals Michael Judge beat Brendan O Donoghue 4-1 and Davy Morris beat John Farrell 4-0 in the other semi final in two fantastic matches.
They were six centuries made in the event with John Farrell 104, Robert Murphy 113, Davy Morris 115, TJ Dowling 108 & 120 but the high break was 121 by Michael Judge.
