Day 2 Cassidy beaten by China 4-3

David Cassidy played a good match on the day two of the World Under 21 Snooker Championships here in Beijing against top Chinese player Lin Shuai. The Cork Man controlled the match with great snooker and a top break of 80 to lead 3 frames to one, but his opponent fought back to level at 3 frames each.

In the decider David got in first and missed a black on 28 only to see his opponent make a frame winning break to beat the Irishman 4 frames to three.

As National Coach I am still very happy with David’s play and he is scoring very good but he knows he should have won today but I am confident he will come back tomorrow stronger in Day 3.
