Home Internationals Seniors beat Guernsey

The RIBSA Senior team came from three nil down to beat Guernsey 9 frames to 3 to stay in the hunt for the title this afternoon in the 2013 Home Internationals in the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds.

Michael Judge won his match 3-0, John Sutton won 2-1, Brendan O Donoghue won 2-1 and David Hogan won 2-1 to secure the win for the Irish team.

Wales A who beat our Irish team on Day one were beaten by Wales B today so with two matches remaining against England and Northern Ireland our Irish side still have a great chance to win the 2013 title.

Our National coach PJ Nolan said the boys started poorly but came back like the champions I know they are to win the next nine straight frames. The team is fully focused on preparing properly for Northern Ireland at 11.30am and England at 2pm tomorrow. Come on Ireland!!!!
