The third event of the 2013- 204 RIBSA Premier Tour “The Presidents Cup” was played on Sunday 19th of December at the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow.
This RIBSA Premier Tour contains the best 41 players snooker players from all around the Country and Ireland’s finest did not disappoint anyone with another fantastic quality event with Robert Murphy from Q Club Wicklow beating his team mate and current National Champion Michael Judge 4 frames to 3 in a superb final after a long days play.
The highlight of the early rounds was a fantastic 142 break by last year’s number 1 David Hogan from Borrisokane and Philip Browne superb win over Event 2 Winner Martin McCrudden.
In the Semi Final round Robert beat Colm Gilcrest from Celbridge 4 frames to 1 in a great match while Michael got revenge on David Hogan from Borrisokane when he won 4 frames to 2 after Hogan had beaten him in the World IBSF in Latvia last week.
