The second National RIBSA Under 14 & Under 16 Cue School Snooker events of the season will be held on Saturday the 15th of February in the Northwest Snooker Club in Letterkenny.
It was Jason O Hagan and Aaron Goldrick who won the first events and it promises to be an exciting day of snooker with all of our young stars of the future hoping to play good and put them into contention for the International teams at the end of the season.
The top 6 in both age groups will qualify for the International team at the end of the season. The ranking points on offer will be the same as last year with 150pts for the winner, 120pts for Runner Up, 100pts for Semi Finalists, 80pts for Q-Final, 60pts for Last 16, 40pts for Last 32.
The events on the day will be played in Knock Out format of best of 3 frames including the semi Final and Final in the Under 14’s.
In the 16’s the Q-Final, Semi Final and Final will be played in best of 5 frames. John Doherty will be the Tournament Director on the day and Entries are open until Friday 14th February at 12 noon.
The Draw for both events will be up on the web site at 3pm Friday.
Trophies for Winner, Runner Up, Beaten Semi Finalists and Highest Break are on offer in both events. Players can enter both events on the Day and these events are open to all Under 14 and Under 16 players in the Republic Of Ireland

Seedings for the Cue School Events will be the Top 4 but the players must ring or text to enter before the deadline.
