Goggins & Doyle win National Doubles Championship

Rodney Goggins and Wayne Doyle won the 2015 RIBSA National Scotch Doubles Snooker Championship on Saturday August 1st in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club when they beat John Sutton and Brian McPhee from Potters SC 3 frames to 1 in a superb final.

The group stages featured 2 frames with four teams coming from out of the groups and the matches contained a very high standard on the day. Rodney and Wayne had the high break with a superb 96.

The prize fund was the following : Winner €200, Runner Up €100, Semi Finalists €60

John Lynch/Philip Burke – 21- 2 – 1 = 6pts 2nd 

Tom Forde/Jake Byrne – 000 – 0 = 0pts

Michael O’Sullivan/Aaron Hill – 0 – 2 -0 -0 = 2pts 4th
