The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association (RIBSA) have just announced they will hold a Ladies snooker development day on the 23rd of October in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow.
Any lady player are invited to attend the day with our Irish National Coach PJ Nolan and Ladies National Coach Michelle Sherwin to learn the skills of the game and about the Stance, Grip, Cue Action, Cue Ball Control and Potting Skills.
The day will begin with the players playing some snooker with PJ will give some tips and advice to the players. The players will then be shown how to control the cue ball and then try some practice routines.
A re-spotted black tournament will also be held. The action will begin at 11am and finish at 4pm.
RIBSA would like to ask all the clubs to encourage as many of their lady members to attend this promotion day and help grow the game in Ireland.
The cost to each player will be €5.00 and each player will receive a certificate of attendance.
