Ronda wins 3rd RIBSA Intermediate Ladies event

The third RIBSA Intermediate Ladies ranking event of the season was held on Sunday the 8th of January in Q’s Snooker Club in Dublin.

Newcomer Tanya O’Neill made a great start in the Intermediate series by reaching the final to play current Intermediate no 1 Ronda Sheldreck.  Tanya was clearly nervous competing in her first tournament, but she quickly settled down and played some solid snooker to really give a great match to Ronda.

Ronda won the final 2-0 to increase her lead at the top of the intermediate rankings but both frames went to the black ball; with Ronda potting a superb black to win the 2nd frame and take the match.  Well done to Tanya on a superb performance in her debut tournament.  Nicoletti Flynn was also in great form and we are all delighted to see her back in good health again.

The ladies were presented their trophies by Mr Tom Muldowney
