Our National Coach PJ Nolan held a two day RIBSA Summer Camp in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Thursday the 29th and Friday the 30th of June. All the players practiced various routines to improve their Cue Ball Control, Potting, Safety, Long Potting and Match-Play.
Training was held from 11am – 4pm. The players received RIBSA technique booklets plus a DVD to study at home as PJ feels this is crucial in helping them remember the key technial points from the camp. PJ said he was delighted with the players commitment during the camp from very young Junior players to Intermediate players to Master players.
RIBSA would like to thank all the players from Laois, Cork, Limerick, Wicklow, Navan and Carlow who attended and to the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club for hosting the succesful summer camp.
