The latest RIBSA / Coaching Ireland snooker coaching seminar has just been announced
The Seminar will be held in The Ivy Rooms SC Carlow on Saturday the 20th of March
This Seminar is based on the Coaching Ireland & Irish Sports Council approved coaching syllabus to train coaches at Intro level.
This official recognized seminar will be given by PJ Nolan – National Coach and Neil Shanahan who are qualified tutors within Coaching Ireland.
Coaching Ireland has now replaced the NCTC as the governing body of all coaching in the Republic Of Ireland and PJ will cover all coaching areas and Neil will cover the rules of the game of snooker and billiards.
The Timetable for the seminar will be from 10.30am - 1pm - lunch - 2pm - 5pm.
The seminars are open to any paid up member of the Republic Of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association and registration forms are available from the RIBSA Office.
The Annual RIBSA Registration is €20.00 euro per year and runs from September to August each season.
The Candidates who attend the seminar will receive training and coaching skills to coach players of the basic skills within their local club.
They will then act as talent scouts within the Republic Of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association.
The cost of attending this coaching seminar will be €20.00 euro and this will be paid on the day.
There is no formal assessment at this level and all candidates will receive an Intro Level Coaching Certificate.

Anyone interested in becoming an Assistant Level RIBSA / Coaching Ireland coach should completed the forms and post them back to the RIBSA office to book their place at the seminar.
At present RIBSA have 39 assistant coaches with Coaching Ireland approval

PJ Nolan is a professional Snooker Coach working full time for the Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association.
PJ has vast experience coaching all over Europe and Asia and he is the Senior Coach within the European Association.
