The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association has just launched the "2009
Junior RIBSA Elite Squad " which will again be sponsored by www.firststep.ie.



Nigel Power, who is a former Irish International Snooker Player, will sponsor the players and his www.firststep.ie company logo will be on the players snooker waistcoats.

Nigel is delighted to have firststep.ie linked to this snooker scholarship in developing young Irish snooker stars of the future.
 

The offical launch of this years Elite Squad was held at the second Senior Ranking Event in Carlow on the 7th November in the Ivy Rooms SC.



PJ Nolan will be again in charge of the squad and he is delighted to see RIBSA focused on developing young stars of the future.

The six players will receive free entry into all RIBSA events and will receive free squad coaching days

The players will be completing blogs throughout the season on their results from the season and they will appear on this site.  It promises to be an exciting season ahead for all the Elite players.
