U.S.A. Player Training Camp

This week Rhett McCreless from Huntsville Alabama in the United States of America travelled over to Ireland to receive two days of coaching from our National Coach PJ in Carlow.

Rhett was very impressed with the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow as the venue for his two day intensive training camp from 10am – 5pm with PJ Nolan who is an official world snooker coach.

Rhett plays on the USSA (United States Snooker Association Tour) in America where the snooker game is really trying to grow and Barry Hearn and world snooker would really love to hold a ranking event in America in the future.

During the camp PJ Focused on improving his Cue Action, Pause, Delivery, Long Potting, Break Building and Cue Ball Control and you can click here to watch Rhett training with PJ

Rhett was very impressed with the quality of the training and praised PJ on his Coaching skills. Rhett hopes that the knowledge he has learnt can help more players start playing snooker in America.

Rhett was videoed in each session and returns home with DVD’s of his lessons to study and he cannot wait to return for another camp in the near future.
