Cassidy is out

David Cassidy was beaten by Zhu Yinghui from China 5 frames to 2 in the last 16 of the World under 21 Snooker Championship here in Wuxi in China tonight.

The China man got in early and opened with a string of breaks to win frame one and frame two. Back came the Irishman winning frame three but the number one seed for the championship won the next two to lead four frames to one. Cassidy fought back to close the gap to four frames to two before the china man won frame seven to win the match five frames to two.

Team Coach PJ Nolan said that David has played awesome snooker this week and he was a great ambassador for his family and country. He has went up two levels since last year and his future looks great as he is still underage for the next two world under 21 championships

Result David Cassidy Vs Zhu Yinghui ( China ) 5-2
