Irishman David Hogan was beaten 6 frames to nil this morning in the Q-Finals of the 2013 IBSF World Men's Snooker Championship here in Daugavpils Latvia.
The Nenagh man never could get away from Zhou Yuelong the 15 year snooker whiz kid sensation from China. In each frame David got in but somehow his Asian opponent managed to steal the frame from the Irish man's hands.
The match much was much closer than 6-0 sounds with Hogan having the highest break in the match with a 66 in frame 2.
David was supported over here by his girlfriend Laura and today just was not his day. He tried everything but came up short. As National Coach and David's own Coach I am disappointed he lost but we will make a plan to come back stronger and better next time. He gave it 100% and that is all we can ask for in any match.
