Casey loses 2-4 to Qatar

Greg Casey from the Republic Of Ireland lost 2 frames to 4 to Ahmed Saif from Qatar in the 2012 IBSF World Championships here in Bulgaria this afternoon. The Cork man never got going after losing a tight first frame and went 3-1 down before losing 2-4.

 Greg still qualifies from his group for the knock-outs which start tomorrow.

Super Mark Tuite wins 3-0

Mark Tuite from the Republic Of Ireland was in superb form today in beating B. Abdelhamid from Egypt here in Sofia 3 frames to nil in the 2012 IBSF World Championships in Bulgaria.

The win now moves the Killarney man to sit in the group with two wins from three matches. Mark now plays his last match tomorrow at 10am.

Cooney wins 3 - 0 in style

Brendan Cooney from the Republic Of Ireland beat A Dashdorji from Mongolia this morning 3 frames to nil here in Sofia in the 2012 IBSF World Championships in Bulgaria.

The Youghlal CYMS man has now played all his group matches to finish with four wins and one loss to go into the draw on friday.

Brendan O Donoghue from the Republic Of Ireland won today 4 frames to nil against Roey Fernandez from Israel in the 2012 IBSF World Championships here in Bulgaria.

The win means Brendan wins his group with four wins out of four matches to be among the top seeds for tonights draw
