Michelle Sherwin Wins Ladies Ranking Event 3

The 3rd ladies ranking event of the seaon was held in Newbridge Snooker Club.
 
Catherine Fitzsimons showed the form of her life when she beat newcomer and last tournaments beaten finalist Sandra Bryan in the first round.

Catherine was clear and cool headed throughout the match and had a very comprehensive 3-0 win.

Catherine then played current no 1 Michelle Sherwin in the semis and this match went 3-0 in Michelle's favor. The other semi seen Treasa keegan take on Michelle French.

There is always a great battle when these two play and today was no different, going right down to the wire with Treasa winning the match 3-2 on the pink ball.

Unfortunately for Treasa, Michelle hit a purple patch at the start of their match having a break of 46 at the start of the frame and she then started of the next frame with a 30+ break.

Treasa played extremely well too but Michelle was just too strong for her on this occasion and went on to win the match 3-0.
