CONWAY WINS UNDER 19 RANKING NO. 1


Sean Conway from Co. Mayo won the first Under 19 Ranking Event of the season with a fantastic three frames to nil victory over Jason Devaney from Crossmolina SC in the final in the North West Snooker Club In Letterkenny.


Sean had superb wins over Dylan Scully, Cathal Dunne and Wayne Doyle in reaching the final and Jason had wins over Dylan Carey, David Cassidy and Karl Fitzpatrick.

There were two big shocks of the Last 16 round with Ross Doyle beating No. 2 Seed Tony Moore 3 frames to 2 in a superb win for the current Under 14 No. 1 player and Michael Walsh from Waterford SC beating the No. 4 Seed Daniel O'Regan three frames to nil.

There were a number of high breaks on the day with Wayne Doyle winning the trophy with a fantastic 92 break.
