Ivy Rooms host Successful first Camp

The first of the three RIBSA Snooker training camps at Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow was held on Sunday 3rd June with our National Coach PJ Nolan from 11am-4pm.

In attendance today was Irish Masters Champion Rodney Goggins, Irish U-16 & 18 Champion Aaron Hill, Irish U-12 Champion Leone Crowley, Sean Paul Crowley, Aaron Smith and John Fitzpatrick.

RIBSA would like to thank Rodney Goggins for all his good advice to the players on the day and thank the Ivy Rooms for hosting the camp as the tables were superb on the day.

  • Two more camps to be held

RIBSA will hold two more Snooker Training Camps with PJ and Saturday and Sunday the 9th & 10th of June from 11am-4pm each day.


RIBSA would like to encourage more International players to attend one of the Camps. RIBSA are holding the Camps for players playing the EBSA in Romania, Celtic Challenge in Wales, and players playing in the World IBSF in China to help them prepare for their upcoming Championships.

  • Players at the 2018 European Men’s & Masters & Teams Championships in Romania
  • Players at the 2018 Celtic U-14 & U-16 Challenge in Wales
  • Players at the 2018 World IBSF U-18 & U-21 Championships in China

All the players are invited to attend one of the days at €5.00 per day where PJ will hold sessions on Break-Building, Safety, Long Potting and Technique checks.
