RIBSA hold first Training Day with PJ

RIBSA held their first of a series of five training days in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow with our National Coach PJ Nolan on Saturday 25th of May from 11am-4pm.

In the upcoming months our RIBSA players will represent our country in many International events and RIBSA have organised the days with PJ to prepare our players and teams for the events.

  • 2019 European Men’s & Masters & Teams Championships in Serbia
  • 2019 Celtic U-14 & U-16 Challenge in Carlow
  • 2019 World IBSF U-16 Championships in Russia
  • 2019 Home Internationals in Leeds

All RIBSA players were invited to attend at €5.00 per day and PJ held sessions on Break-Building, Safety, Long Potting, Tips on Cues, Technique checks and fitting of Waistcoats.

  • New EBSA Coaching Balls

Today PJ used the new EBSA Snooker Coaching Balls that were designed by PJ in Belgium at the camp and the players were impressed with the feedback from striking the balls.

The remaining RIBSA training Camp dates are :

  • Sunday 16th June
  • Saturday 29th June
  • Saturday & Sunday 13th & 14th July
  • Saturday 27th July – Mind Session with leading mind coach Denis Coen

Each Camp is from 11am-4pm and all International players are invited to attend the training days.

Mind Fitness Camp

A special Camp one day Mental Training Camp will be held with leading Mind Coach Denis Coen on Saturday 27th of July and all RIBSA camps will be held in the Ivy Rooms in Carlow under the guidance of PJ Nolan.
