International Billiards & Snooker Federation
The International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF) is an organisation that governs snooker and English billiards all around the world. They hold annual World Championships in all the disciplines.
European Billiards & Snooker Association
The European Billiards & Snooker Association (EBSA) covers Europe and is one of the largest snooker playing regions in the world, with more than 47 active member countries in the EBSA.
Home International Snooker & Billiards Federation
England, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Rep. of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Guernsey, Jersey are members of the HIBSF in an annual series of Ladies, Junior, Senior and Masters events each year.

The Oceania Billiards & Snooker Federation (OBSF) is the controlling body for Billiards & Snooker within the region defined as the Oceania Zone of the Olympic Committee.

The African Billiards & Snooker Confederation (ABSC) was established to govern the sports of Billiards & Snooker for all the African Countries within the African region.
World Snooker Tour
World Snooker is the commercial entity responsible for the commercial promotion of professional snooker events. World Snooker Limited’s primary objective is to organise, promote or sanction all professional snooker events globally.
World Professional Billiards & Snooker Association
The WPBSA is responsible for the governance of the Rules of the game of snooker and billiards worldwide. The rules are applicable to professional players or officials on the main tour.
World Billiards Limited organizes events worldwide. World Billiards Limited have a reputation for running well organised tournaments, rewarding excellence and encouraging all players to improve and enjoy the game of English Billiards.
World Anti-Doping Agency
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is an international independent agency composed and funded equally by the sport movement and governments of the world. Its key activities include scientific research, education, development and monitoring anti-doping policies in all sports and all countries.
The Sport Ireland (SI) is the authority tasked with the development of sport in Ireland. This includes participation, high performance in sport and the development of the Sport Ireland Sports Campus. Sport Ireland also funds all official NGB's in the Republic of Ireland including RIBSA each year with a grant.
Coaching Ireland role is the development of coaching in the Republic of Ireland, highlighting the importance of quality coaching in developing athletes and providing opportunities for participants. Sport Ireland Coaching works in partnership with all National Governing Bodies (NGB's) to achieve these objectives

The World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) is the umbrella organisation that represents the three sports of Pool, Carom and Snooker.

World Women’s Snooker (WWS) has been responsible for the staging of women’s snooker events. WWS underwent a major restructure as it became a subsidiary of the WPBSA and the company became World Women’s Snooker as part of its long-term strategy
World Disability Billiards & Snooker (WDBS) is a body created to give more people with disabilities the opportunity to play cue sports. The WDBS has been set up under the auspices of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA)
Professional Snooker Coach
PJ is the National Coach of RIBSA and was the first Irish Professional Full-time Snooker Coach. PJ is the Head of European Billiards & Snooker Association Coaching. He received a World Snooker Scholarship to become a World Snooker WPBSA Coach and is a Coaching Ireland Tutor.
