Home Internationals Training Camp

This year RIBSA will be holding a Mental Training session and a Snooker Training Camp to prepare our players for the 2017 Home Internationals on Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th of July in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow from 11am – 4pm. 

Denis Coen from who is one of the leading mind coaches will assist our National Coach PJ Nolan in preparing our RIBSA Senior, Masters, Billiards, Under 21, Under 16 players who will compete in the Home Internationals in Leeds in August.


Who is Denis Coen ?

My name is Denis Coen, founder and owner of Elite Mindsets. I live my passion working as a Performance and Mental Conditioning Coach. I have dedicated the last ten years researching, studying, modelling and teaching psychological and elite-performance strategies to individuals, teams and organisations. I hold an honours Degree in Psychology. I also have an academic background in Coaching, Training, Finance and Business Innovation. I am a member of the American Association for Applied Psychology. I am an ‘asker of questions’ and will challenge and empower you, your team or organisation to increase your performance and infuse you with a fire to achieve excellence.

29th July – Snooker Training Day with PJ 

All RIBSA Home International players are invited on Saturday 29th July to a training day with our National Coach PJ Nolan.  PJ will guide the players on various training routines to improve their Break Building, Long Potting and Safety games.

30th July – Training & Mind Coaching Session

All the players are invited on Sunday the 30th of July to a 2hr Mind Session where Denis will train the players on a specific program to help them improve their mental side of the game. This will be followed with match-play training on the snooker table in the same format as the Home Internationals.

RIBSA would recommend all the players who will be representing RIBSA to attend. The cost to each player will be €5.00 each day.
