Mark Tuite Hits 131 Break

Mark Tuite and Albert Hogan playing for Ireland Masters 1 team drew with Denmark last night in a fantastic snooker match with Mark winning his match 3-1 and Albert Hogan losing 1-3 to tie the overall match one match each.

In the European championship today in Bulgaria. Mark Tuite produced a stunning performance in their game against Belgium. Mark had breaks of 72, 42c , 131 in a superb 3-0 victory. Albert lost his match 1-3 in a tight match to draw their second match in a row.

PJ Nolan our national coach said it was the best performance by a Master player playing in a major championship he has ever seen.

Mark now holds the overall High Break prize with his superb 131.

Ireland 1 will play again later today against Poland at 6pm Irish Time
